This project will contribute to shaping a renewed ‘sense of place’ in Central Croydon by:

Providing a landmark gateway to Croydon, raising its national profile and making the most of its excellent transport links

Delivering a highly accessible arena to service London and the South-East, with the flexibility to host many different types of sporting, leisure and entertainment events

Creating a new and lively local community, which will be active every day of the year and stimulate the evening economy within the town centre

Introducing new residential and office space in the heart of Croydon

Reinforcing Croydon’s role as an outstanding regional centre for business, leisure and shopping

Attracting new investment which will boost the local economy and attracting more visitors from throughout the South East.

In supporting the Arrowcroft development, Croydon Council is fulfilling a key objective of its award-winning Vision 2020, which aims to work with partners to create an attractive and cohesive community within central Croydon.
